Our Redbirds were well-represented at the Harvest Days 5K! Thank you to our PE Teacher, Mrs. Donovan, for promoting this event and participating with our students. 🏃♀️❤️🏃♂️


It's Safety Week at Dwight Common School! Students have participated in Bus Evacuation, Tornado Drills and Fire Drills. Thank you to our Dwight Fire Department; they were present for the fire drill today. Later this week, we will practice our ALICE and Standard Response Protocols with students and staff. School safety is a priority!


Dwight Grade School had a big donation of school supplies donated yesterday by the owner of Top Fuel Saloon in Braidwood. A huge thank you to Tommy Hunter aka "Freak" for this generous donation! The picture is a small portion of the items donated to the school!

Baseball and Cross Country start Monday. Get your kids registered in Snap and make sure they have an up to date physical.


Numbers for softball are good but we could use a few more. Calling all fifth grade girls interested in playing.
Practice tomorrow 3:30 to 5 at the softball field.  Make sure you are registered in Snap and have a up-to-date physical.


Registration is now open for the annual "Megan's Mission 5k Run/Walk".
Our event is scheduled for Saturday, September 13 at 6:00 p.m. in front of Babe's Tap.
We do have a virtual registration/participation option as well. All virtual participants will receive their race shirt and finisher medal in the mail following race day.
As always, thank you for your support of the Megan's Mission Foundation and our goal to realize Megan's dream of ending the nightmare of childhood cancer.
